We spent this Easter madly!!! Berlin city touched our hearts…
It was the craziest time in my life! I’ve never met so many freaky people in one place before!
Just imagine… we stayed in a district of hippies, punks, “artists” and Muslims. Every wall has graffiti… Every street has its own, special sound and air. You just go through the streets and feel different energy - crazy energy! People are doing something all the time - some of them are singing, some dancing, some painting… Action around, noise, positive is overtaking you.
Rows of bars, pubs, clubs, cafés and restaurants seem like never ending!
We tried to visit the most famous touristic points, but I am sure we haven’t seen everything! The city is huge and pretty. It’s active, alive… Being there you just understand that people there are free! They are free to be themselves, doing what they want and making all crazy things with their appearance! We saw so many strange hairstyles and clothes. You will never see the same in Latvia!
Ah… we spent only four days of holidays, but seems like we lived in Berlin for some months! Every hour was so saturated with emotions, I can’t even explain everything!
Thanks to people who helped us to with accommodation! We had unbelievable creative designed room in the apartment of my friend's friend. There you won’t see anything "bought"… They did all furniture by their own. It is so artistic, a little bit shocking and inspiring! Colorful posters on the walls, xmas garland instead of usual light… OMG, you must see it to understand my feelings!
The host was really nice to us - he just gave the keys and stayed for these days in his parents place! So, we had everything just for us - for me and my friend Olga. She is beautiful soul, understanding, funny and reliable friend! Without her this holiday could be worse, I am sure! Thanks for her for being my friend in Stralsund!
